The Home Depot, through The Home Depot Foundation, has opened their Community Impact Grants cycle which will be in effect from February 6, 2012 through August 13, 2012. VFW Posts can receive up to $5,000. Although, of course, there are no guarantees (so please be mindful of that), you are encouraged to enter your Post. Apply as soon as possible, if you desire to fix up your building. You will complete the application directly via the Internet.

We will have four separate tables set up in different areas of the event and there will be Veterans there from around the area. This is a great opportunity for the VFW to offer those Veterans a Welcome Home that they may never have received.
