CryptoLocker Virus

You may read a lot of emails alerting you to a potential danger.  CryptoLocker Virus is real and was first identified in October 2013.  It can encrypt your files and then ask for a ransom to let you access the files.  learn more

 

A solid antivirus and malware package is a strong line of defense, but the first line of defense is you!  Watch what you do and look carefully at email addresses.  Even name brands like American Express and Intuit have had  their email addresses and website data copied and changed ever so slightly to look like the real thing.
